We manufacture slam-shut valves based on ball valves design with a gas-spring actuation and control unit

  • the valve construction is fully welded

Application

SSV valves, depending on the requirements,protect the gas pipeline both against an excessive, uncontrolled increase of pressure (protection of sensitive equipment on the installation)
and optionally against an excessive pressure drop, e.g. in the event of damage to the gas pipeline (shut-off of escaping gas downstream the valve).

Actuators

All ball valves are equipped with gas-spring actuators with a control unit enabling automatic, rapid closing of the valve and shutting off of the gas flow in accordance with EN14382 or any other agreed time. In addition, the actuator allows local and remote operation, depending on requirements.

Corrosion protection coatings

  • As a standard, the ball valves in the above-ground version are protected by spray painting using electrostatic technology, depending on the corrosivity category in class C4 or C5 according to EN ISO 12944-2.
  • The underground components of the valve can be PUR-coated and tested in accordance with EN10290.

  • Different collection of control impulses are possible.
  • Various communication system such as Modbus, Profibus, hardwire can be implemented.
  • Special temperature range on request.
  • Special corrosion protection coatings according to customer specifications are possible.
  • On request, we manufacture ball valves in special designs and materials, e.g. stainless steel or NACE-certified material MR0175.
  • We also manufacture valves, taking into account specific customer requirements, such as final pressure and functional testing of taps or checking the quality of anti-corrosion coatings.
